UPDATE: For those of you that missed it the last time around, I am once again offering my eBook, Prepper’s Guide to Food Storage, for free. The dates this time are January 12 to 16. I realize that many of you already have a copy but if not, feel free to grab a copy now. Even better, if you know someone who needs help with their food storage, send them a link so they can snag a copy as well.
No Kindle? No Problem?
It always surprises me to learn that folks do not realize you do not need a Kindle to read Kindle books. Amazon has a free reading app that allows you to read Kindle books on almost every computer, tablet, smartphone or other gizmo you can think of. Here is a link for you: Amazon.com – Read eBooks using the FREE Kindle Reading App on Most Devices.
Summing It All Up
As a numbers person, I monitor book downloads and print book purchases from Amazon on a frequent basis. During the month of October, I noticed a huge uptick in interest in The Prepper’s Guide to Food Storage. Just guessing but I believe this may have something to do with the spate of recent disasters. I just wish that Amazon would allow me to offer the eBook version for free on a full-time basis. As it stands, I am limited to 5 days every three months.
Since writing the book, some of my views have changed, or shall I say “matured”. Moving from Washington State to Arizona has greatly influenced my thoughts in that regard. Watch for an update with those thoughts soon.
In the meantime, prepper or not, please take steps to check your food storage. Do you have at least two weeks worth of food? One month is better, or, if you are like me, two years or more!
Hang on and enjoy the ride,
