What Personal Data We Collect and Why We Collect It
Anonymous Information Collected
Everything on the internet is generated from an IP address. This IP address is an anonymous bit of data dropped by all site visitors and it is tracked by the following entities for better security, content creation, and marketing purposes.
Your browser may also send response headers with generic/anonymized information about the type of browser, computer/device, and ISP you are using, and your location by country only.
The privacy policy of each entity that collects this information is linked below if you would like to learn more.
- Google Analytics: This gathers statistics so I can track the types of content you find the most helpful. Only myself as the site owner has access to this data. Google does not have access to this data.
- A2 Hosting: A traffic log by IP address is kept in the host server logs so the host can identify and stop bad bot attacks.
- Cloudflare: Content Delivery Network (CDN) that can identify and stop bad bot attacks and thus prevent denial of service attacks
- Rafflecopter: An application used to track and maintain giveaway entries. When an entrant signs into and enters a Rafflecopter giveaway, their information is collected by Rafflecopter and used by the giveaway administrator (me) to run, manage, and moderate the giveaway.
