Gaye, I feel a big sense of relief wash over me whenever a new post from you pops up. The relief that someone who knows what she is doing is thankfully doing it. Your relevance and authority in the prepping world is irreplaceable.

Last spring when I was prepping for potential pandemic consequences, I finally bought a good camp stove and started stocking up on propane. I did this by way of admitting that collecting and burning wood outside isn’t realistic for me anymore. The only way I could handle wood fire cooking is with a Solo Stove or some type of rocket stove. I’m glad you’re bringing back Ron’s book. Also seem to remember you created a post with instructions for a homemade stove using a #10 can. Your loyal reader, Karen.

You read my mind. I have just started to take a fresh look, re evaluate what I have and what I have done and think forward. It is really a struggle to stay positive right now but I will work hard at that while I am working to find and fill my “gaps”. Thank you for all that you do.

I do use a content blocker, which I did remove for your posts. All the “missing” pieces are now viewable. Odd that it only blocked a few things from your post…not all of them and all the ads showed up. So I apologize for the inconvenience!

Always good to see an article by you! It really is the time to go over our preps and reevaluate during this turbulent time. I’ve been saying I should, but haven’t gotten around to it. I now feel motivated to get my rear in gear and see where the gaps are. Thanks for this timely reminder!

Sorry, you did say links to prior posts are missing. Sounds like a screen brightness issue or link blocking by your browser or some other app. I have tested on Chrome and IOS (iPad and iPhone) and all is okay.
