Thank you Gaye. Half this nation shares your concerns..maybe more. The fraud we have experienced is disgusting. We just canceled our Amazon account. We have never participated on social media, not interested in sharing our life with anybody. I have been leery of modern technology..it is like a nightmare come true. Sincerely, Susan

Gaye, read your blog everytime it comes out. I share your feelings about the present and our hope for the future. One thing I am confident of is this: that God is still in control and he will always watch out for His chosen people. He who said, “I will never leave you or forsake you”, also said, “if my people who are called by my name humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2Chronicles 7:14). Our current national situation calls for prayer and repentance from God’s peple.

Hi Gaye!

You are far from alone with your concerns. I am almost scared sh#tless myself. But I am taking the sage advice to focus on what I know I can control. Reassessing our stocks, ordering vegetable seeds, and generally amping up prepping. Otherwise, I would be nearly catatonic! I worry more for the kids and grands. Most of them are clueless, too caught up in drama and social media. They aren’t going to know what hit them.

Best of luck to all, keep stacking it high, and most of all, pray for our country!

Hi Gaye,

I just want to encourage you that things may not always be as they seem. In the early 80s, there was a prophet who claimed that Donald Trump would become president of the USA and that he would lead that country back to God. God has not fulfilled all of that prophecy and I do believe that He will very soon. There are many modern-day prophets who make this same claim, that Trump will serve his second term and that he will lead this country back to God. Our job is to pray for the victory and the protection of our President and of his loyal special forces. You can listen to a couple of these modern-day prophets in the video below:

Thank you SO much for taking the time to continue blogging, I look forward to seeing them whenever you send one out. It’s always nice to know that I’m not the only one that feels and thinks the way that you do about current events and just Life in general! Your articles always help me to get out of my slump and, they offer encouragement rather than a sense of giving up all hope.
Those of us from older generations have lived through and seen some strange and stressful times, what’s happening now this past year, and even in this last election, are perhaps some of the best reminders of why a smart person prepares for hard times instead of frolicking as though evil doesn’t exist.
A sad reminder of how wonderful life here in America used to be, before Socialism, etc. started taking such deep roots, is to watch old movies and TV show reruns from the 1950’s, ’60s and ’70s…such wonderful times, patriotic times, and we didn’t really realize it because things had always just been good compared to society today.
Thank God for people like you, Gayle, that take the time to offer hope and inspiration to those of us that may sometimes feel as though our hope is fading and all is lost. It’s comforting to know we’re not dealing with Life alone and that our efforts truly are worthwhile.
